In conjunction with SAP, and its integration with MySAP ERP and Business Suite, NetApp provides an elegant solution for storage consolidation, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, and archiving. NetApp's partner integration with SAP Adaptive Computing enables dynamic provisioning of application services in SAP environments.
Integration with Oracle through NetApp's Oracle Grid Control plug-in extends monitoring and service-level management capabilities of Oracle Grid Control to NetApp. Integration with Oracle RMAN, ASM, and RAC via SnapManager for Oracle allows Oracle users to eliminate backup windows and meet recovery-time objectives. In addition, Oracle Database, Record Database, and Content Database integration with SnapLock helps to meet regulatory compliance for Oracle data.
NetApp is deeply integrated with applications like MS Exchange Server, and MS SQL Server via SnapManager for Exchange. But the integration goes even further with the combined investment both companies have made in VSS integration, VDS integration and MPIO integration.
